If you look on the records at Companies House you should find
the directors listed as Peter Sheppard, Jackie Sheppard and Grahame Every.
(Jackie is a sleeping partner!) We also have great support from my youngest son
(Robert), Fred ( a friend of Grahame) and recently Paul Stanford has joined our
ranks.
I am a safety consultant in the day job, getting involved in
the safety analysis of modern signalling systems used in the UK and abroad
on mainline and metros.
Grahame is a
has been, and has been many things in electrical engineering. From
maintaining Her Majesty’s Naval Aircraft and their weapon systems to writing
technical manuals. Before his recent retirement he taught signal
engineering practice to installation, testing and maintenance staff on the
full-size railway.
Robert is in the first year of his GCSE course. He is
interested in anything mechanical and as well as building a 32mm Narrow
Gauge railway in the back garden, he is renovating a Hillman Imp, ready for
use by his 17th Birthday
Jackie Sheppard
(refused to have her picture uploaded)
Jackie is my very tolerant and understanding wife who has
permitted me this excess at Lackham. She is very supportive of the venture
and has proof read this website (so if any spelling misteaks remain they are
her fault!)
Paul works for Customer Service within
Network Rail and has a long history of working
on miniature and mainline railway in main line use or on heritage railways.
Paul has an electric Hymek called Bopper that we hope to use whenever possible during the
season.
Fred
Fred has been dragged along by Grahame and was very helpful
in the construction of the platforms and station.
Dominic
Dominic is into SM32 as well as 7.25"
He is a friend from ESSMEE and also helps out here. He only said that
he would help at the Model Railway Weekend (end of August 2005), if I put a
picture of him here! So, Dominic, I expect to see you on the 28th & 29th
August!
From Wiltshire College Lackham
Andrew Davies
Andrew is the Museum Curator and a
vigorous supporter of the LM & WR. He has been instrumental in helping us get
this far.
Terry Duggleby
Terry is Vice Principal at Lackham
and is also very supportive of the railway and its closer integration within the
college.
Terry (the Tractor)
Hayward
I don't think that either the college
or the railway could survive without Terry. If something needs doing, just ask
Terry and it's done! Terry moves our railway materials around, built the fences
around the railway and drives the tractor that gives rides on the open days (and
drops off our potential passengers near the railway!)
